The Early Learning Shared Services Alliance recently hosted its kickoff meeting with child development center partners to reconnect and prepare for the year ahead. With shared goals and a commitment to collaboration, educators are ready to support San Antonio’s early learners.

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexico’s Independence Day, families at our South Center came dressed in red, green, and white, honoring their heritage with pride, joy, and tradition. It was a powerful reminder of how culture lives in our classrooms.

Attention Families! 📢 A friendly reminder that all Pre-K 4 SA centers, including Gardendale Early Learning Program, will be closed on Monday, October 13 for Parent Conferences. Pre-K 4 SA will resume normal hours on Tuesday, October 14.

North Center families gathered for our first family engagement event of the school year, a Potty Training Workshop with LATCHED. 💙 Parents learned strategies to support toilet training and left with resources and tools, including complimentary toilet seats to use at home.

Reading isn’t just for classrooms! 📚🌞 Outdoor spaces, such as parks and sometimes libraries, offer the perfect backdrop for stories to come alive. A new setting can turn a simple reading session into an adventure.

Children at our West Center turned wax paper into shoes and glided across the floor with joy! 👣 This activity built motor skills and encouraged creative problem-solving, as well as imaginative thinking, using everyday materials.
