Day 2 of the Cross Learning w/s was focused on #Gender Responsive #Climate Finance, where presentations & panel discussions were conducted to identify country specific needs & priorities for gender responsive finance, public & private finance & New Collective Quantified Goals.

Together with Ms. Mehtap Tatar from UN Women Nepal Nepal and women leaders from other areas, we visited the Methinkot women’s group in Namobuddha. Through REFLECT sessions, they voiced their climate and resilience journey, expressed through stories, songs, art, and solidarity.

Namobuddha Municipality has endorsed the Gender Action Plan developed under our project, with support from UN Women Nepal. The event marked a strong commitment to advancing gender-responsive climate and disaster resilience at the local level.

We're proud to share that our #GEDSI in Climate & DRR Action Plan Guideline 2082 is now officially endorsed by 4 local governments, Hariharpurgadhi and Marin in Sindhuli & Dhulikhel, and Bethanchowk in Kavre, under our project supported by UN Women Nepal.
