Was thinking about the over $2 Billion dollar cost to renovate the D.C. Fed building. Potentially over $3 Billion dollars. That is three thousand million dollars for those in the back of the class. We have to stop this stupidity. nypost.com/2025/04/27/bus…

I saw a post earlier saying dudes sell cars only to miss those cars for the rest of their lives. Yea... Here's my regret. Long gone but never forgotten.

So, interesting day at the range. Had a student getting into USPSA wanting to draw faster. Figured out what he was doing and got him down from 1.79 average to first quality shot all the way down to .76-1.05 pretty consistently using the snatch grip vs. scoop. Was just what

Oh, quick shout out to Silencer Central on the Banish 9K. A 2.7oz printed Ti can for 9mm. Had it on a 16" DD PCC running Staccato Match Subs. No sensor but the 9K was a bit quieter on this setup than the AAC Ti-Rant I had on there previously. Interesting little can - will

Hope everybody out there is ready to rock the next week. Have a great Monday. Kids are back to school in a couple of weeks so that will give us parents a bit of a break so we can get back to normal work hours. Cool to get the extra kid time but... yea, time for school.

Female students are often the best students... Fewer pre-conceived assumptions of competence, they listen, little to no ego, they want to do it right.

Buddy coming over this weekend. There will be practice working corners... With lots of PPE because, well, having it and not wearing it is like having a 5 point harness in your race car and not using it.

The internet is an amazing and wonderful place sometimes. Have a great weekend everyone. Don't forget to entertain your livestock.

Pretty stark contrast, even with a small x account like mine, when X thinks you are engaged in spam vs. when you ask WTH? and they say, "oh, our bad" and un shadow ban ya. No idea what it was but hey, here we are.

Internet went out mid-family movie this evening. Spectrum got whacked it seems. Starlink Mini For the Win! Family movie night saved! That thing is slick. . .

I was curious about the sealed Grand Jury proceedings. Special Counsel, apparently, would have access to that and could summarize or use it in further prosecutions.

The folks patrolling downtown D.C. They have the FAFO vibe going on. I spent a decade in the beltway and this is about 30 years later than it should have been. Parts of D.C. have been a running street gun battle since the 80s. No stopping at red lights at night!

Interesting one for discussion. Charges are "Assault with Injury" and "Deadly Conduct". So the hypothetical for discussion is: Would a person be justified in shooting back with a real firearm? Discuss... msn.com/en-us/news/cri…

Hopefully, fellow leadslingers got to get out and spend some time relaxing on the range today. My Saturday was all yard work. Tomorrow, have students but at least will get to hit the range for a while.
