Completely erroneous to equate a case (Loya) where PILs are filed by 3rd parties 4 years after death of a person, with a case (Sushant Singh Rajput) where a complaint is filed by family members because no one is investigating the death of their son.

Even assuming (though it doesn't appear to be so) that the lawyer was at fault, its not Professional Misconduct. Really discouraging to see an SC Judge elevated from the Bar threatening disciplinary action & putting observations on Court record against a lawyer for mere laxity.

Delhi High Court to start limited physical hearing in 5 courts from 1.9.20. Advocates will have an option to appear through VC in these Courts. Hopefully the system can work safely, and augmented in the future so that there is a respite for Advocates facing financial issues.

I am a victim of Fake News...and I can't be quiet anymore. I really really hate drama. I just want to travel the world and show you the positive side of it. But some people don't like that. This video says it all. It's time to hold people accountable. #nasdaily #aljazeera

While High Courts are passing urgent orders and Delhi High Court, for one, held a night hearing on a holiday owing to the urgency of the case, Supreme Court issued notice and kept the hearing for TOMORROW! Where is the sense of urgency?!

So WhatsApp has sued the Indian government for imposing the IT Rules 2021. This is probably the most significant privacy case in India, ever since the Right to Privacy case. Thread on what this is about:
