So its the last friday before christmas, please have a safe one. We have a number of first responders volunteering thier time this evening assisting North West Ambulance Service throughout the East of the county NWAS Volunteers

So we have had a busy night and and a number of responders have been in Burnley, Accrington, colne and Nelson and have been kept gainfully employed supporting NWAS colleagues throughout East Lancashire dealing with medical emergencies.

So a busy night was had by our volunteers and all arrived home safe and well after providing support to NWAS. Thank you to all those and their families for allowing them to help out.

Our responders have been busy working behind the scenes supporting the front line in packaging up their PPE for the staff.....staff are attending at a moments notice providing valued support so the frontline staff can continue thier work safely....keep up the good work team 👍👍

Our CFRs have been helping in many ways throughout the Covid pandemic. From packing PPE, helping Covid testing staff to manning our welfare trucks. Anything we can do to help North West Ambulance Service crews and make their day a little brighter! ☀️🥰 💚Jane Atkinson💚 Mark Evans NWamb_CRT_Shaun
