The Port of Johnstown will be closed on Monday February 17 to enjoy the Family Day Holiday. We hope everyone has a great long weekend, despite all the snow coming 😀

A days break in the grain loading vessels to make time for the Spartan and Spartan II to unload calcium chloride

Welcome to the Finnborg which arrived late last night. Loading of corn will start this morning. It has been a busy start to the shipping season so far, once complete it will be a total of just over 55,000 MT of grain loaded in a week and a half.

#EarthDay2025 some of our Port employees joined other businesses from the Johnstown Industrial Park to clean up along Hwy 2 and area once again this year. Everyone did a fantastic job and the ditches look great.

It was hard to tell for awhile if the winter season was ever going to end, but I think it might finally be behind us. The Port boardwalk is now open for the season.

Welcome to the Whitefish Bay who arrived in the early morning hours to unload salt. Once that is complete they will move over to the shipping dock to ship out a load of corn & soybeans LOGISTEC

Hopefully the rain holds off so we can load corn onto the Federal Ohio which arrived this morning

Welcome to the Algoma Intrepid arriving this morning to unload salt. LOGISTEC , Algoma Central

The Algoma Intrepid slipped in during the very early morning hours to unload salt. Once the salt is complete they will move up to the pile of aggregate and load it. Busy day for them all, at least the sun is shining. Algoma Central LOGISTEC

The Thunder Bay arrived Sunday afternoon to start loading corn/soybeans for a few hours till the rain started. Loading has restarted again this morning.

Another early morning arrival, the Algoma Intrepid slipped in a few hours ago to unload salt once again. LOGISTEC Algoma Central

The CSL Niagara arrived on Saturday to unload salt, after completion and clean out moved over to the loading berth to load soybeans, we will finish up loading today.
