This year marks the 155th anniversary of Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day. On June 19th, 1865 union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, & brought news that slavery had been abolished more than 2 years earlier.

Pi Lambda Chi will forever stand with our Black Sisters & Brothers & support them in their endeavors. Work still needs to be done for Black lives. Continue to amplify Black voices and work alongside them to dismantle systemic racism. Do Better to Be Better.

This has to be huge. Spread the word. Denver, Aurora, all of Colorado needs to show up for this. This needs to be heard. We NEED to be heard

June 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of annual LGBTQ+ #Pride traditions after the 1st Pride March in New York City was held on June 28, 1970 on the first anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
