Plasticseize visited the world's largest M&S food store at Southampton @M&S. Spoke with Rebecca who was explaining about the "take your own container" principle and filling up with dry goods/cereal etc. Generally 30p cheaper. Has been very very popular and saving plastic.

Just got my poster from the OU today ou in a plastic free package made from wood pulp. Great series on TV about fishing in Cornwall.

Plasticseize visited Wilfrid's Cafe. No sign of any single use plastic. Proper cutlery, cups and saucers. "Cafe on the Meon" Annexe to St Mary and All Saints church Droxford. Warm welcome given. Warm room to read papers and have cup of coffee and slice of cake. Dogs welcome.

Hurricane Iota is causing death and destruction in Central America. 30 people have been killed. Scenes of houses being ripped apart. All that plastic being blown into rivers then out to sea where it can stay floating for years.

Scenes of elephants roaming across rubbish dumps in Sri Lanka and accidentally consuming plastic. Several have died. What are we doing to this World?
