Everyone keeps talking about covid becoming endemic, but as I listen to the conversation, it’s becoming more & more clear to me that very few of you know what “endemic” means. So here’s a thread on how pandemics end.

Please help ID'ing fungus: -central Texas garden -sprouted overnight next to corn -generic musty/mushroom smell when disturbed -very light for their size (stems seemed hollow) -no staining when cut (caps darken where touched, seen in side view pic). #mycologist #fungus #mushrooms
