This #MenstrualHygieneDay there should be #NoMoreLimits - no more limits to a girl's dreams, to her education. Periods shouldn't get in the way. We're working around the world to challenge the stigma around menstruation 🤸

Today, on #MenstrualHygieneDay, we are #absentforgirls in solidarity with all the girls who are forced to stay home from school because they have their period. Time to break the taboo and put periods & menstrual hygiene on the political agenda as a key issue for girls' rights.

From our research we know girls feel uncomfortable talking about their periods. We want girls to know it is ok to talk about their period - especially if half of them cannot afford products for their periods. We need to talk. #Period. plan.ie/we-need-to-tal…

Do you remember your first period? We asked 1,100 Irish girls, @MuireannO_C , @MariaWalshbiz & Diana Bunici about their first periods. Let's start a conversation and end the taboos on menstruation. We can break the silence and dispel stigma and shame. youtu.be/0_TXafSHX84
