I’m missing seeing 2 of my favorite tech guys here at the React meeting in Las Vegas. Ryan Florence and MJ . I know they have something big cooking and don’t want it over or undercooked but still, miss them.

Feeling the need to share that the Cursor Compose1 model seems to have gotten much better than when first released. chat GPT has been really slow lately for me so I switched to Composer1 and it’s pretty amazing. OK, back to regularly scheduled programming.

I feel like I need some kind of rule in @cursor with all models that says “check for useEffect in React” if added, the prompt with “did you really have to add useEffect, no better way to do that?”

I live in a scary desert where there are rattlesnakes up early in the morning in the dark. I have a button on my iPhone that depends on a Cloudflare service to turn my outdoor lights on before venturing to my garage office. Whoops.
