5P have been exploring Islamic geometric art. These are some of our creations. Next we will be creating a clay tile using our designs.

In Birch class last week, the children put their Primary Knowledge Curriculum learning of primary and secondary colours to the test and mixed red and yellow together to paint their own sunflower, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's picture, Sunflowers 🌻. The results were wonderful - take a look!

Using a pentatonic scale on chime bars, Year 5 have been recreating their own versions of ‘The Lark Ascending’ by Vaughan Williams and ‘The Flight of the Bumblebees’ by Rimsky Korsakov.
