Massive fire loss in a multi-family building. Fire department thinks it started at the Refrigerator. Day in the life of as a busy field adjuster!

I am beyond busy right now. Not complaining, I’m super grateful for this life as an IA. However, I did just have an insured send me 37 separate emails with one photo in each email. Good times. Hope you’re all crushing it out there! 🙌🏼

The firms you work for as an IA could really make or break you. Don’t let one asshole manager or one shitty firm deter you from the success you’re seeking. Try others before deciding if this career is right for you. I almost quit my 1st week as an IA over a manager. Still going.

Always keep your cool as an IA. You are going to be tested over and over again from every angle. The insured, the PA, contractor, even the examiners and desk adjusters at the firm you work for will piss you off. Take the high road and do good work. It’s never that serious.

Called NI to schedule an inspection. She asks why I need to complete an inspection? Told her we need to assess the damage and prepare an estimate. She asks, “how can you prepare an estimate if you haven’t seen the damage?”… Lady, that’s the reason I’m calling you! Let us pray

I told all my IA firms I can no longer handle assignments. My first month as an Independent Agent I did $86k in premium. I sold insurance at LM before becoming an IA and I do miss the field. Although I’m really looking forward to next year when renewals start hitting! 💰

Any Independent Adjuster in MA, RI, or NH looking for work? Got a firm that needs an IA they don't have anyone in the area. Plenty of claims and one of the best managers I worked for.

Wait Joe Murray I completely agree with you. I'm confused. Why give them the ball back with time? Why not run the clock out and win the game? Wild stuff on 98.5 right now.

Drake Maye is the MVP. “But Stafford has better stats” Lamar Jackson had significantly better stats than Josh Allen last year and they still gave it to Allen. Drake does more with less, won his division, is a higher seed, and has better record against common opponents.

Since 2000, only 4 NFL Most VALUABLE Players didn’t win their division: • 2012 — Adrian Peterson • 2008 — Peyton Manning • 2003 — Steve McNair • 2000 — Marshall Faulk A 5th seed, 3rd in the division QB winning MVP would be a massive outlier. Drake Maye MVP

This didn’t win Lamar Jackson MVP last year. If Matthew Stafford wins it, It’ll be a career achievement MVP. Longevity + “he deserves one” narrative. That’s not what MVP is supposed to be.

I’ve spent way too much time reading MVP takes on twitter. The general sentiment as I can discern it is: Analytics crowd: “Maye, by a mile” Film watchers: “Maye, but close” TV analysts: “My dear friend Matt deserves at least one MVP”
