Great to see our @ScienceUWindsor UWindsor Integrative Biology Honours thesis research students representing us so well at the Ontario Biology Day hosted this year at Carleton University - both presented important work related to conservation captive breeding research

We are assessing pictures from UWindsor Integrative Biology Maiza Saqib MSc student study on the effects of tank colour on Chinook salmon fry - here you can see same age fry from white tank (left) and black (right) tank - can you spot the difference?

Was such a pleasure to tour Girl Guides of Canada group at FREC in Town of LaSalle where Olivia M. Galloway read Ashley Watt children’s book about endangered Redside to them - lots of fun, screaming and learning were had by all

Beyond the hook: do angler-fish interactions in a catch-and-release recreational fishery modify fish space use and catchability? 👥 Lucas Griffin et al. 📚 University of South Florida, Keep Fish Wet and other partners ➡️ ow.ly/UpZE50VifEe

Anyone else having fun with final exams? My lab cart is coming in hand for UWindsor Faculty of Science UWindsor Integrative Biology first year biology final exam day! Good luck to all of the students!

Kicking off our UWindsor Integrative Biology Honours thesis colloquium with a talk from our very own Honours student Chris, co-mentored by Dane Roberts , who studied aspects of lake sturgeon reintroduction efforts

It was a pleasure to tour the Mayor of Lakshore Mayor Tracey Bailey around the University of Windsor campus today to explore possible collaborations and opportunities

Massive congrats to our very own UWindsor Faculty of Science UWindsor Integrative Biology Olivia M. Galloway who successfully defended her Masters thesis today focused on conservation efforts for Lake Sturgeon and has an environmental science job starting in a week!
