The Poet Laureate did not disappoint! A beautifully-crafted evening of sharp wit and poignant observations delivered through stellar poetry and wonderfully affable commentary. Thank you, Simon Armitage, for kicking off our Freedom Centre events with a flourish.

As a book-lover I approach adaptations with trepidation, but #OneDayNetflix is completely wonderful and utterly faithful to the novel. Probably the best adaptation since the stunning Patrick Melrose series. Funny that. Magic ingredient = @DavidNWriter

Lucky enough to have been sent a proof copy of @DavidNWriter new novel. I've just finished this tender, funny, wonderful story and know this will be one of those book hangovers which is going to take quite some time to recover from...

Coming to Netflix 30 May co-created by the awesome @holsmale starring Emily Carey as awkward teen Harriet Manners, supported by a stunning cast & production team, and featuring "wound up agents" - dunno what that's about 😆. It is BRILLIANT AND FUNNY AND FEEL GOOD so watch it!

I feel quite emotional, Holly, seeing Harriet on the screen, so I can't begin to imagine how you must feel! Huge congratulations - I've no doubt this is going to be a smash hit. x
