Some different flying today. Swapping the right seat for the left while getting recurrent back in the SET doing a handful of approaches and landings. Quick trip up to Hawarden, quite apt for the day job with it being owned by Airbus. No Belugas there today though! #pilotlife

My 2023 flying is complete after getting back from SSH last night! ✈️✅ Few stats for the year and my 1st flying the Airbus: - 674 hours across 245 flights - 54 airports in 24 countries - 262,053 miles flown - 39,780 passengers - 100 landings at LTN Here’s to many more in 2024!

Some very strong winds last night meant a very quick trip down to Portugal from Luton, but sadly the same can’t be said for the way back! I think 591 knots is a new record for me in the A320! ✈️💨💨

The Northern Lights were a very pleasant surprise over the Alps and southern Germany tonight! Some spectacular views on our way back from Dalaman. #NorthernLights #aurora

Shocked and upset to hear of the Ryanair crew who tragically lost their lives yesterday so close to here. Rival airlines but aviation is a close family. My thoughts and condolences with all affected. Rest in peace.
