Mr. David Price, a United States Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officer presented Noah Mattox his scholarship for $400,000 to the U.S. Naval Academy. Only the best and brightest are chosen to prepare as future officers of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

The honor organization of Pillow Academy is the Mustang Club. Seniors who accumulate 100 points in all school-sponsored activities over the course of their high school career are eligible for membership in the Mustang Club.

In Mitch Mitchell's memory, Pillow Academy recognizes a senior athlete that excels in multiple sports while demonstrating characteristics of leadership, patriotism, persistence and courage, as exemplified by Mitch during his time on the athletic fields. Congratulations Skyler!

Pillow Academy presents the Jonathan Nichols Consistency Award to a Senior football player that was consistent in his commitment and effort to the Mustang football team. Congratulations Jack Kirk!

Pillow Academy presents the Stewart Patridge Award annually to the Senior football player that displays a strong work ethic and the leadership qualities that made Stewart successful in his football endeavors. Congratulations Elliott Flowers!

The Sunjay Chawla Award is given to a student athlete who strives to excel not only athletically but also academically with determination throughout their high school career. Congratulations Ruben Martinez!

The Cole Whitfield Toughness Award is presented to an athlete who, like Cole, leads by toughness, dedication and pure will, and who also unselfishly puts his body, heart and soul on the line while bleeding green and gold. Congratulations Brantley Counts!

Each year Pillow Academy gives the Louis Coleman Determination Award to a senior baseball player who best displays the determination to succeed that helped drive the successful athletic career of Louis. Congratulations Elliott Flowers!

Congratulations Mrs. Donna Pittman! She was presented the award for Elementary Teacher of the Year by faculty and staff at Elementary Awards Day. Mrs. Pittman is retiring from teaching 2nd grade. We will miss you Mrs. Pittman!

Pillow Academy had fifteen students attend the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Camp at Belhaven University in Jackson. The camp is for 8th-12th grade student athletes who desire to reach their full potential as leaders for Christ.

Hayes Brown, Trace Harrell, and Will Neill attended American Legion Boys State at the University of Mississippi. Boys State is the premiere leadership program for rising high school seniors in Mississippi.

Elise Holland and Mary Laine Dyksterhouse represented Pillow Academy at the HOBY Youth Leadership Program at Mississippi College.

Congratulations PA baseball players Carson Jenkins, Clayton Goss, and Aiden Valente for making the District 3 State Games All Star Baseball Team. Good luck in Meridian, MS this week!

Congratulations to Ali Hargett, a 2025 graduate of Pillow Academy! She will represent Greenwood at the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant July 18-19 in Hattiesburg. Ann Pinder Singh will attend with Ali as her Little Miss Hospitality. Ann Pinder is in the first grade at PA.
