The association’s own Richard Greene and his wife Amy are busy serving with the KyBaptistConvention Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen unit in Jackson, KY for victims of the historic flooding in eastern KY. Pray for those affected by the floods and those ministering to them!

Regarding the flooding in Southeastern Kentucky here are some things we know now and how people can help.

As circumstances continue to unfold with the devastating eastern Kentucky flood, we will provide regular updates regarding flood relief efforts and how your church can help. Here is the first update.

Pray for Faith Baptist Church in Myra. This ⁦Pike Association of Southern Baptists⁩ church experienced great flooding but they are also experiencing the grace of God as many have come alongside to serve them and serve with them.

We’re thankful to so many who are meeting needs in eastern Kentucky! It’s a long road ahead, but we’re thankful for the love that has been shown to our mountain communities.
