Three PHS Aviation Seniors signed their letter of intent with the Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology. Aidan Brown & Adam Blodgett (pictured) signed their letter of intent. Anthony Alberty has also been accpeted to Spartan as well, but wasn’t availble for the picture.

Nicholas Rowland & Carsen Daneker were selected to receive the FAA Workforce Grant Private Pilot scholarships provided by the OAC for $2,000 each. Both received the scholarship after going through an application process that was made available to all PHS Aviation students.

Congratulations to these two young men! Joseph Campbell and Dylan Coplen have completed the EMT course at the Pryor HS Innovation Center and both have successfully passed their EMT Certification test.

CONGRATULATIONS! Nicholas Rowland earnd his FAA Part 107 Certificate yesterday, certifying him as a Drone Pilot. Nicholas is a junior in the Pryor Aviation Program and his goal is to attend Oklahoma State University's Aviaiton & Aeronuatics program after graduation.

Today we started our first Professional Skills Series: Creating Digital Portfolios in Google Sites. Students will work on creating Personal Profile pages. This is a fluid project as they continue to use their creativity to create Digital Portfolios that are unique to them.

This past week our Innovation Center students and students from other Mayes County schools were introduced to the MAIP Cup Enterpreneurship Event, Sponsored by MidAmerica Industrial Park and i2E, Inc. This event is based on the i2E Love’s Cup, (i2e.org/loves-cup/)

Kera Pruitt is a 2022 Pryor High School graduate that obtained her EMT Certification through a partnership with the Innovation Center and OKEMSTA. Kera was on campus to speak to our current EMT students and answer any questions they may have.
