I’ve known Tucker for 30+ years. For most of that time, if I told him he’d become this guy one day, he’d have laughed, cursed me out, or punched me. This is just sad. It’s pathetic whether he’s doing it sincerely or as a grift.

It's almost as if the media realizes that Marxism isn't as popular as academic leftists believe, and accordingly interpreted this turn in Greta's activism as damaging to the "climate change" brand.

This is just very dumb. Our deficit/debt is the problem. Taxing the people more, or running a bigger deficit, to hand the government a slush fund is a very bad idea. Oh, and before you say “it’s not taxes it’s tariffs”, don’t embarrass yourself.

This claim is nonsensical, Daron Acemoglu. 1. Almost nobody paid the high statutory rates in the 1950s. Effective tax rates were much lower due to intentional loopholes. 2. There's no causal link between high rate/low inequality (or vice versa). See: academic.oup.com/ej/article-abs…

With tariffs -- tariffs?? -- back in the news, let's revisit my conversation with Phil Magness about whether they work, either now or in nineteenth-century America. Henry Clay, where are you? What is economic nationalism? Podcast: …asithappens.radio.washingtontimes.com/whats-economic…
