.Bop Daddy is part of Nigeria's #EndSars protests. Is he afraid for his life? He says no. "We have a seriously high level of poverty, there’s unemployment. We’re in a critical state because of how much corruption… we continue to see… What kind of life am I living anyway?”

The beginnings. As at last count, these lawyers ended up helping getting around 80 arrested peaceful protesters all over Nigeria united with their families. Details here: endsarslegalaid.co

What do we think about having a nationwide zoom conference? We can share victims stories, talk about our protest experiences, and exchange ideas about the way forward. We can't lose hope. It's a marathon not a sprint. Police reform is just step one, the journey has just begun.

Haven't quite worked it out but could we have ppl like feminist co (FK & Odun). Macaroni. Falz. Rinu. Akin from Lekki toll gate. Chioma Chuka. Aisha Yesufu. Tola. Moe. Phyno. Flavour. Victims and Survivors. Open discussions about what happened and where we go from here. Thoughts?

1. I have seen several mails and DMs regarding what next? For me, as an average young Nigerian with no connections, rich background or prospects of succeeding elsewhere, I am letting go of all intents of trying to be strong. I confess that I am broken and shattered.

2. I saw hope, passion on the faces of youths and was confident that I found purpose in the joint efforts of creating a better land. Now, it seems we are letting the lackadaisical response from our so-called “democratic leaders” snuff out the hope we managed to build together.

6. We‘ve always maintained the position of a leaderless protest. For me, I think it’s time we have leaders. Youths with resoluteness who understand the pain of the people. This is not a battle. It’s a war. We‘ve won a battle, the world is watching. We shouldn’t lose the war.

7. Let’s have spokespersons/representatives. From the East to the North to the South to the West to the diaspora! Unity is what has, is and will continue to keep us. Capitalize on Unity! No divisions! We are the Sorosoke generation. Let us speak with one voice.

You've tasted the fruit of national unity, cohesion and inclusion. You've tried your hands in the garden of governance and seen what you can grow. Never let anyone convince you to the contrary.
