Allotment year 3: Emphasis on semi-permanent crops: asparagus, strawberries and fruit bushes. Spuds, onions doing well (thirsty). Red alert tomato plants & carrot seed going in tomorrow. Barley straw around strawberry plants is keeping the slugs off. #allotment #GrowYourOwn πŸ“
