Our next meet is Thursday at home for the Pendleton Invite at 5:00pm. Athletes will need to be at the track by 4:00pm. Everyone is expected to to attend and help at the meet.

The boys track team opened the outdoor season at home against Frankton. Notable finishers from last night's field events were Reis Schnepp 2nd in the Discus and First in the shot, Nate DeRolf 2nd in the High Jump and First and Second finishes for Jay Seeko and Luke Mills in Vault

On the track the Arabians had victories from Will Coggins in the 1600 at 4:49.91, Ace Carpenter in the 800 2:13.28 and Andrew Blake in the 3200 10:25.12. Our next meet is Wednesday at Fishers.

In a night that saw a lot of personal bests the Arabians competed well against one of the state's top teams in Fishers. Reis Schnepp led the throws for the Arabians in Shot and Discus. Keegan Gephart led the sprints in the 100 and 200. Will Coggins led the mile for distance group

The Arabians had an exciting Friday night by narrowly winning the Madison County Championship over Frankton. The meet came down to the last two events. The Arabians pulled ahead in the 3200 with second and third place finishes by Andrew Blake and Avry Carpenter.

Then the 4x400 team of (Seeko, Mankhwala, Carpenter, Coggins) finished the night off and sealed the victory with a second-place finish in one of the most exciting races of the night. Brendon Hubble was County champion in the pole vault at 9’.

The other County champions were the 4x800 team of (Lyst, Blake, Coggins, Carpenter) in 8:51.55. The meet turned for the Arabians in the 400m dash with Kip Mankhwala getting second and Jay Seeko getting fourth.

In the 1600m Avry Carpenter and Will Coggins got second and third. Keegan Gephart got third in the 100m. The 4x100 of (Richardson, Gephart, DeRolf, Nielsen) placed second. Mark Nielsen placed third in the 110m hurdles. Will Coggins placed 2nd in the 800m.

The Arabian Boys Track team participated last night in the Lawrence Central Regional. Freshman Nate DeRolf led off the night competing well in the high jump against some of the states best. The 4x100 team of (Richardson, Gephart, Seeko, Nielsen) ran well in a time of 45.68.

Senior Avry Carpenter finished his season running 4:31.17 in the 1600 good for 6th place and the 10:02.29 in the 3200 for 9th place. Thank you to senior Avry Carpenter for four great seasons and all the great things he brought to the team.

PHHS Boys defeat Frankton A windy win at home last night against Frankton 45 - 40. Individual event winners included Will Coggins (800 and 1600), Gabe Martin (Shot and Disc) Nolan Souders (110 and 300 Hurdles), Zach White (3200), Elijah Wolf (Pole Vault). Congrats, boys!
