Ms. Janay welcomed our AEC Scholars to their first day of AEC Amp Camp with a game of “Get to Know You”. Mr. Manny, one of our Carrick Coaches, taught the students about the different types of learning styles and study skills that support each type of learner.

Tour Tuesday's continues with visits to Duquesne University and Penn State Greater Allegheny. Students had a tour of Duquesne University from admissions representatives. Additionally, at PSU Greater Allegheny students had a Career Exploration Day regarding Biology Class and Introduction to Argumentation.

A giant shout-out to Oxford Development for supporting Walk for One Promise with a 4 mile trek between their offices in the Strip District and the Point. This ambitious crew raised $12,000 for Promise Scholarships with Promise Chair and Oxford Board Chair Anne Lewis at the helm.
