Chapter 8 cleared. Well that was some heavy lore drop! (I just wish I didn’t know anything about it haha). Lot of familiar faces on the enemies side, and a very cool environment that I swore would have been kept for the last chapter. Hang on, Mei!

Chapter 9 cleared. I couldn’t help but smile seeing some story elements I left :) The song played during the boss fight might be the most beautiful song ever written by 福田 考代_LieN_CC2, so emotional that I let Kyle sacrifice himself in the Soul Cannon…

Chapter 10 cleared. The kids (especially Hanna) are so overpowered now that I literally wrecked the boss, even though I enjoyed the fight (cool design by the way!). My head hurts, time to get some sleep so I can finish the game tomorrow ;)

Chapter 11 cleared. What a beautiful and majestic boss fight… truly amazing. Got the normal ending, cried a bit, saw my name in the credits while listening to the ending theme, cried again, and now I’m ready for NG+. Sorry Hack, sorry Kyle, I’ll save you guys this time.

Chapter 11 cleared (True Ending Route) Woah woah woah, CC2 really went full Gurren Lagann here and I love it! Also the fact that they used « her » as a motif and that particular song means so much to me… this is perfect. Is the last chapter what I think it is…? :D

The role and importance of Blutwurst in Fuga 3 is perfectly justified. He has always been Fuga’s world’s biggest victim, and suffered from discrimination so much the only way he found to run away from it was to become its worst enforcer. One of my favorite characters.

Advance Simulator cleared! Now is time to watch all secret events, unlock that last gear, and see what the secret movie is about!! (Scarlet Order? Adult Hack? Strelka? Boron’s Dad…?)

Man, I finally saw Fuga 3’s secret movie and woah… I must say I wasn’t expecting that at all…! !!!SPOILERS!!! North mentioned several times in Fuga 3, Jack the Ripper and Sherlock Holmes vibes, Big Ben, a Felineko victim…? This is DEFINITELY Abyssina…!

And that’s it. I am done with Fuga: Melodies of Steel. Thank you CC2 and the Fuga team for giving the kids’ journey such a generous and beautiful conclusion. After all this time I feel like I can finally let go and move on :) おやすみ、タラニス。

I just beat Kunitsu-Gami and I can say Switch 2 was the perfect platform for it. A very good surprise from Capcom, I’m not super good at action or RTS, but this game mixes both in a way that is never daunting and very easy to play. We really need more titles like this.
