Midjourney can generate pictures of Biden, Trump, Putin, the Pope, etc, but it will not generate Xi Jinping. 🤔 “Without uniform standards, individual companies are deciding what’s permissible—and, in this case, when to bow to authoritarian governments.” washingtonpost.com/technology/202…

This is yet another reminder that generative AI regurgitates the work it’s trained on. There is only one way to reliably avoid gen AI regurgitating copyrighted work: not training on it in the first place. axios.com/2024/02/22/cop…

GenAI is starting to look like Typhoid Mary. Last May, the celebrated 54-year-old LexisNexis touted hallucination-free legal citations produced by Generative AI. Instead, it is making up cases — from 2025 and 2026!!! Talk about torching one’s reputation on the altar of GenAI. —

Claude just shipped “Computer Use” which allows an LLM to control your computer and do arbitrary things like browse websites, download and run files, and more. A slew of startups doing browser agents feel obsolete overnight. Seriously cool stuff.

Generative AI is using creators' work without consent, imitating and replacing the creativity we pour into our craft. The solution? Safeguards and regulation passed through Congress - even a former OpenAI employee agrees. Read more here: bit.ly/3YlAf0e

𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 explained simply. In general, the memory for an agent is something that we provide via context in the prompt passed to LLM that helps the agent to better plan and react given past interactions or data not immediately available.

OpenAI has released ZERO features for developers in the last 7 days They went from open source to closed source to no API access AND give us $200 to access our top LLM!! EXTREMELY ALARMING!

Generative AI is changing filmmaking—if you can describe it, AI can create it. This video, made with MidJourney and Kling AI by Jacopo Reale, proves how realistic AI-generated cinematography has become.
