Jasprit Bumrah finished an entire T20 World Cup with an economy rate of 4.17. After 29.4 overs. That's an economy rate that would be GREAT in the ODIs of the '90s. But he did it in 2024. In T20s. W. T. F.

TIL that proteins are depicted as "ribbon-like" structures, with alpha helices as spirals and beta-sheets as arrows, because of Jane Richardson. In 1981, Richardson hand-drew and -colored proteins for a research paper. Her style was later adopted by the protein science field.

These laureates are VERY deserving. But an important addendumโ€”no model could be trained without 40 years of Helen Berman and othersโ€™ work at the PDB, and we would not be certain of AFโ€™s success without 30 years of John Moult and othersโ€™ work on CASP. Hats off to them as well ๐Ÿฅ‚
