Classic Aragona with the 13/1 closing down that Al Stahl chalk. Nice pick David Aragona. Reposting because earlier misspelling. I HATE misspellings.

Balnikhov was handled very well, and he ran his race. Not good enough. There is little I despise more in life than an odds-on favorite. Don't get me wrong. I like the horse and I've won with him before. I cannot accept 4/5.

Bankroll's catching a breather today, and I didn't handicap the race, but Greg Wolf made an offhand comment about #4 Froghollowsummer. Huge effort last out. Little poke here in the nightcap.

I'm not gonna wear you guys out with this, but 7's been running out of her class last 4 of 5, no luck. Drops to 40, 2nd place. Last win at a mile here, last year. Steep drop to 17.5 k. I'm suspicious. They just wanna move on?

Not to excite the ire of the diehards, many of whom are friends, but good thing the Yanks picked up three more relief bums, huh?

Help me out here, guys? Look at the 5th at the Spa, #7. On the sire line, is that the stud fee? 250K? Running in 20 K claimers? Do I detect the redolence of deceased rodent? I'm looking to play a price here, and he's not going to be it.

Always, ALWAYS very grateful for any kind of a winner, but how did that Brazilian import get away at 8/1? Wasn't everybody watching the board? Gutty, gutty performance. Congratulations to his connections, and to the connects of Hop Sing, who ran his eyeballs out and just missed.
