@RonanPierc44301 Dean McGuinness Caroline O'Doherty Ireland is a tiny market. Custom labelling for such a small market is unviable for many breweries. Hence 95% of Dean McGuinness’s suppliers cutting supply. Consumer choice reduced and jobs lost. All for a logo which isn’t actually critical to the technical functioning of the scheme.

There is a huge amount of work that goes in to organising the nationals every year, and one of the big dates is the bottle sorting. Huge thanks again this year to Dean Dean McGuinness and Premier International Beers for hosting us for this critical task! Greatly appreciated as always! 😊🍻

It is hugely disappointing how the government - specifically, the Green Party that has driven the Deposit Return Scheme - do not listen. The Logo needs to be made OPTIONAL. The Greens have an opportunity to show they care somewhat. Will they take it? extra.ie/2024/05/05/new…
