Today it was hot, so I used a fan to cool off. But fans are noisy! To get rid of the noise, I use a 220/110 stepdown transformer to feed my 220V fan with 110V. It gives a wonderful breeze and is completely silent! (For Americans, use the same transformer for 110/55 stepdown.)
