A fantastic day celebrating the launch of Beckenham Library Bromley Libraries GLL following investment from Bromley Council . Over 1,000 people + Stella the cat joined the celebrations. It was a personal joy to be a ‘back up rhymer’ for the amazing Floella Benjamin.

Great day at #OrpingtonLibrary yesterday! Storytime with Sandie included the wonderful book #Dogdunnit by Peter Bently & illustrated by Tor Freeman. In the evening we revealed the #Carnegies2025 to the Older Teen Reading Group in a very interesting way!



Y4 loved hearing the story of “The King’s Birthday Suit” Peter Bently with Mrs Leach in our Library session. We found it really funny! #readingforpleasure 📚📖

We are delighted to have reopened #WestWickhamLibrary today. A wonderful project in partnership with the Bromley Council Award winning author Peter Bently ran a great Storytime session & other local children’s authors & illustrators came along too! The whole library looks amazing!
