Highly pathogenic #avianinfluenza viruses continue to pose global risks to #OneHealth, including public and animal health. Rapid and accurate genomic surveillance is critical for #EarlyWarning. #oxfordnanopore #ONT Oxford Nanopore Oxford Nanopore biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Happy to announce that our full genome sequences of both recent Cambodian #H5N1 #avianflu cases are now available on GISAID Initiative. Again, this has been an incredible effort by a number of people: (1/)
Sequences from the first case of #H5N1 #avianflu from Kampot are available on GISAID Initiative (EPI_ISL_18540514). As always, this has been an incredible effort by a number of people:
Honored to share that Institut Pasteur du Cambodge worked closely with partners in Vietnam and FAO Asia Pacific #ECTAD to sequence the recent #avianinfluenza infections in #tigers and #leopards. Collaborative efforts ensured #rapidresponse to support global understanding.
1. We do a lot of #avianflu sequencing Institut Pasteur du Cambodge - it's essential for genomic #surveillance and guiding #outbreak response. But here’s the thing: We need it better, faster, and cheaper. Oxford Nanopore R10 chemistry is helping us do exactly that. journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/sp…
