Know a guy selling a business? Want to get in on that action? Send them to Acquire and you'll get 25% of the closing fee. If your contact is serious about selling, that's all you gotta do.

I'm trying to start posting more here. My big updates: - Recently got married to my Argentine wife. Been living in Buenos Aires for 2+ years and see myself living here for the near future. - I let licenseserver go to the guy who coded most of it. I was going nowhere with it and

Saw a video the other day claiming China could be gearing up to invade (or at least do a land grab) in Russia. It makes a ton of sense if you think about it. Who would defend Russia right now? Chinas economy is also waning internally, they could use some sort of military push

The rise of B2B as opposed to B2C is a symptom of growing wealth inequality. Why try to make 1000s of people happy who could pull out at any time due to financial insecurity when there are just a few who will pay you more, complain less, and keep on paying? I run a B2B

Funnily enough I've never seen more positions for content writer positions open at businesses before today. Copy and creative has only gotten higher demand because of AI not less

"Bad products from popular businesses scare people away from buying better products from smaller businesses." Very interesting quote from a Bootstrappers founder I'm writing about. A poorly executed product on a large scale can initially tank whole industries

My Argentine wife informed me I'm probably the first yanqi in existence to have Obra Sociale military healthcare (through her job). There are new frontiers everywhere

The type of life you can live if you leave the US is impossible for most Americans to comprehend. It's hard to do, but the freedom and sense of adventure to me was always worth it

Currently reading Red China Blues by Jan Wong. Incredibly well-written. Also one of the most detailed accounts I think you can find of the Tiananmen incident as well. Gave me a lot of insight on the things I saw and felt living in China from 2017-2019. Where it all came from

I'd agree. BA is not for the nomad life. If you're trying to jump around and have cheap fun then you SHOULD be in Vietnam and Thailand right now. Come to Argentina once you're ready to be serious and be part of something that's growing. It's just not economically or politically

All the foreigners complaining about Argentine prices need to: 1. Get out of Palermo 2. Check out how locked in the chip prices are. Takis are now 2 dollars a bag. When I first showed up during the "great era" chips were like 4 bucks a small bag

Went to the Chino corner store near my house and noticed for the first time two packs of Cabrales 250g of coffee is less expensive than one 500g pack. I asked the shop owner and he said, "Yeah man, for whatever reason Cabrales and Coca Cola do that since they feel you'll use it

When I lived in Chicago I'd go get drunk in the Polish sports bar up the street in Avondale then play the gas station slots while eating chips on a Wednesday night. Let me tell you, that was a great way to meet some characters.

I'm not a firebrand about the issue but just noticed that on Canva there are over 118K FREE image assets for China with Hong Kong and Taiwan highlighted as part of it. Every other country only has about 12 free assets on Canva. These guys think of everything

What I feel like people don't understand about this trade war is that the US pretty much IS the global consumer market. Fail to ship profitably to the US and your TAM pretty much gets cut by 50% for all but the cheapest goods. There's literally nowhere else to sell this stuff
