PIMS is dedicated to the restoration of mangroves in The Bahamas. As a part of the Bahamas Mangrove Alliance, restoration in Abaco and Grand Bahama will revive miles of mangrove swamp lost to hurricane Dorian. Our goal? Plant 1 million trees by the end of 2025. #BahamasStrong

Everyone can contribute to reducing the spread of SCTLD is a critical part of saving our corals. ✅ Report SCTLD sightings ✅ Never touch coral reefs ✅ Disinfect any equipment used for diving, snorkeling, fishing, and leisure activities.

SIZE MATTERS when it comes to sustainably managing fisheries🐠 In The Bahamas🇧🇸 minimum size regulations are currently in place for a few important fishery species including Nassau grouper, spiny lobster, stone crab, and queen conch.
