LA County Fire Chief saying they don’t have the resources or firefighters to battle four fires of this magnitude. People evacuating their homes have abandoned their cars in the middle of the road. This is unheard of, even for California. #palisadesfire ABC 10News San Diego

#Teamwork makes a tough job manageable. It doesn't rhyme, but it keeps us safe! Great job by Unified Command & responding agencies to keep #TedWilliamsFire from spreading. Crews mopping up hot spots, so please be careful in the area of Ted Williams Parkwy and Pomerado Road.

The City of El Cajon has a resolution regarding immigration law on the agenda tonight. After reading the update to the previous version of this --- I have a few takeaways. 1/They want to clearly define they are not a sanctuary city. Fun fact -- most California cities are NOT.

El Cajon's resolution on cooperating with federal immigration authorities only adds to the confusion... it basically says the city will follow state law BUT when it doesn't they will seek protection from the U.S. Attorney General?

Officials with the La Mesa-Spring Valley Schools say they'll lose about $6 Million for programs slated to run through 2028. Instead those programs will end in December 2025. It includes suicide/threat assessments for at-risk students, behavioral health support, and programs to fight absenteeism.

Let this be clear: Anyone who assaults or impedes a federal law enforcement officer or agent in the performance of their duties will be arrested and swiftly prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Attack a cop, and life long consequences will follow!
