Trauma Cocktail For a trauma casualty, particularly one that needs to be transported, it’s best practice to administer a ‘Trauma Cocktail’. Drugs differ between nations but a common cocktail in UK SOF is 1 gram TXA, 2 gram Ceftriaxone and 4mg Ondansetron administered IV or IO.
