Our craft group have been busy this morning weaving these lovely designs. Everyone is welcome to join this relaxed group on a Wednesday morning from 10.30am. We are mixed gender group of varied ages who enjoy a coffee and some creativity. No skills needed!#penistone

A prayer on the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

St John’s will be open from 7pm this evening for silent prayer. Everyone is welcome as we gather together at this sad time to remember and pray for Her Majesty The Queen. #penistone

As the country continues to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II should you need a quiet space, St John’s will be open for private prayer only tomorrow from 10am. Candles and a condolence book will be available also. #penistone

It’s Messy Church this Sunday! This time we will be celebrating harvest, and enjoying a messy breakfast before and throughout the service. Messy Church is a relaxed service with activity tables for the children, and is free to attend. Everyone welcome! #penistone

During our Eucharist service tomorrow, our ‘Children’s Church’ group will be heading outside for an adventure to learn about roots, and the amazing ways they help trees and plants, and will explore what it means to be rooted in God’s love. #penistone

Church Cafe is open today from 10am-12 Noon. If you’re out and about do pop in - you’re very welcome. Enjoy the beautiful colour of the trees in the churchyard on your way through, and see if you can spot any shiny conkers - there are plenty still to be found! 🍁🍂 #penistone
