Lucky those mythical MRSS's, first mentioned in 2021, will soon be entering service to replace this lost capability... Oh...

During a Defence Committee hearing, Fred Thomas MP (Fred Thomas MP) highlighted that Beijing launched "four submarines last year" and could build "as many as 80 boats over the next decade". Click image for more. ukdefencejournal.org.uk/industry-warn-…

And now they've reaching the Med. HMS Richmond in the lead, with the rest (minus the RFA...) just behind. Presumably RFA Tideforce is waiting for them somewhere in the Eastern Mediterranean, whilst RFA Tidespring is made to go the long way round again...

A grim reminder of the current field artillery status of the British Army... 2x Regt's sharing 14x ARCHER's and the rest have the 1970's era L118. To note: As far as can be seen, the RCH155 order has still not made.

Exactly because the old status quo have done such an excellent job of managing the decline of so much of the armed forces. It's easy to blame the Govn of the day, but when did a senior officer last resign on a point of principal or call out the inefficacies of a defence supplier

The future of frigate force looks bright (providing the frankly ridiculous idea of selling newly built T31s doesn't happen), but the present and short term situation is truly grim. All due to paying the price of all the wasted years of talking about, but not ordering replacements
