The majority of City Council says they don't want to work with the County to end homelessness. Its clear these officials - candidates desperately vying for your vote this month - have their eyes on their own future and not our collective one. Disappointing.

Imagine if electing our mayor looked more like a "draft pick." It would allow people to bring more logic into who they are likely to vote for and their would be less noise about "off court" things that have nothing to do with the mayor's ability to deliver results for the "team."
