I wonder what the true correlation between [research quality] and [quality of writing] is. I find myself abandoning badly written papers after a page or two, but I wonder how much good research I'm missing by doing that.

Does anybody have an opinion on whether there could be a neoclassical bias in economic theory, not for ideological reasons but purely due to the fact that neoclassical models usually have the simplest solutions and therefore serve as a benchmark for non-neoclassical extensions?

To experts in UK administrative geography: Does anyone know of a crosswalk/lookup table from Local Authority Districts to Counties (and their counterparts in Wales, Scotland, NI)? The ones I found from the ONS are only for England.
