The end of the week brought test day for our trainee Drugs, Cash & Firearms search dogs. All 3 teams worked hard, completing a 6 week course & all passed licensing ready for their first shifts. Congratulations PC Bonser & PD Rudy, PC Richards & PD Edna and PC Oakley & PD Flo.

Very proud to say that TPD Rudy is now PD Rudy after successfully completing his drugs, cash and firearms search course. Such a great dog, brilliant personality and real drive to work. Here's to hopefully years if success

Assisted local response last night after a 🚙 failed to stop for them. After a short pursuit the car came to a stop and the 🧍‍♂️decided against running and I quickly detained and arrested him. Maybe next time Joker #teamwork

Had a lovely surprise on our cold morning walk today with an unexpected 🎁. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Anne Bufton McCoy for you and Coopers generous Christmas gift. Joker and Rudy are really looking forward to them, and a coffee is just what is needed after a cold walk

Had the pleasure of being invited to talk to the children at Longwood Primary School with @ShadowRagan about real life super heroes. Love to engage with kids at a young age to promote a positive impression of the 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ and how we help people. Rudy and Frizzi were the real stars 🐾

Great team effort following a break in at a commercial premises. Response officers spotted a male nearby on 🚲 who made off and was lost. Joker tracked from the discarded 🚲 into fields where he found the male hiding in bushes. 1 in custody. #teamwork #hideandseekchampion

PD Joker attended a report of males on premises stealing property but left before arrival. PD Joker tracked locating tools, gloves+clothing. He continued tracking into woods where 2 suspects were found hiding in bushes. #CrackingTracking #2InCustody #NoFoolingTheNoseThatKnowd

PD joker went from demonstrating his agility on Sat to a busy shift sun.. Firstly at an arrest attempt for a male that had assaulted a👮‍♂️& run away the night before. Upon arrival the male tried to run from the back of the 🏠 but was confronted by PD Joker & arrested #OneInCustody

TPD Kyra has decided that she doesn’t enjoy the games enough to become a PD so we are looking for a 5⭐️ active pet home for her. Kyra is an 18 months old GSD bitch, very loving & affectionate but can be wary of people she doesn’t know. She has previously lived in a pet home

Yesterday evening the senior cadets had an input on the role of a traffic officer & what they do to make our road networks a safer place to travel #Warwickshire They also had an input on Police dogs. Following the arrest of a male by a Firearms team yesterday PD Rudy was called in to search an address. PD Rudy made short work of the search locating & indicating on Class A drugs, cash & other evidence to assist the interview team 🐶#TheNoseKnows #SpecialistSearchDog #FoundIt
