Dr. Katleen Robert and team are on a month-long Schmidt Ocean expedition off the Galapagos Islands mapping & characterizing vertical reefs. These mostly unexplored cold-water coral ecosystems live on cliffs and are crucial for maintaining marine biodiversity.

It was a privilege and honour to lay a wreath on behalf of Memorial University at the Gallipoli Newfoundland Caribou monument. To lay a rose on the grave sight of private McWhirter, the first Royal Newfoundland Regiment Member to make the supreme sacrifice. We will remember them!
