Sometimes, it is challenging to laser a severely impacted stone in the upper ureter without injuring the ureter.

This is an approximately 2 cm × 2 cm × 2 cm renal pelvic stone with several stone polyps. The estimated radiological volume, calculated as (length × width × height) ÷ 2, is about 4 cm³. We smashed it with 150 micron TFL laser fiber at 20 watts.
