God HEARS your cries, he REMEMBERS his covenant promises, he SEES your struggles and suffering and he KNOWS everything you need.(Exodus 2:24, 25)

The goal of Bible study is not to master the content of God's Word, but, by sanctifying grace, to be mastered by the Author of that Word.

On the cross Jesus canceled your PENALTY, he ended your EXCLUSION and he lifted your DARKNESS. “There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

Sin has deceptive power, but God’s grace has infinite power.

Our slavery to sin has been broken. Empowering grace has been released. You have reason for hope!

The promises of Jesus are true, he is who he says he is, he will faithful do what he said he will do, and he will fulfill all his promises. He did for "doubting" Thomas, and he does for you and I.

It’s impossible to overestimate the stunning life-rescuing, life-transforming power of the gift of God’s Word.

You and I aren’t born with wisdom, it is acquired. The place to get it is in the pages of our Bibles.

We would not know what sin is, we would not know who are, we would not know who God is and we would not know what grace is if these things weren’t graciously revealed to us in Scripture.

Before you become a tool of rescue in the life of someone else, you need to be rescued from yourself. You are so often in your own way in evangelism.

There is earthly wisdom and wisdom from above. Which would you like to form your desires, shape your thoughts, direct your choices and guide your living? (James 3:13-18)

Because of the cruel work of sin, wisdom isn’t natural, it is a generous and loving gift of divine grace. (Another way God rescue us from us.)

Pride closes wisdom’s door. Humility opens it.

Our war of words is not with other people; it is a battle within. Will we speak in a way that images the Great Speaker or Great Deceiver?

Without God’s law we wouldn’t know sin, without the knowledge of sin we wouldn’t cry out for God’s grace and without his Word we wouldn’t know his law or his grace.
