Delighted to see the King’s visit to the British Normandy Memorial for D-Day on 6 June featuring prominently in His Christmas message! It was an intensely moving occasion, made even more so by the presence of a number of our wonderful veterans.

Refugee Education UK Today is also the Jewish festival of lights. Five times since 1900 Christmas & Chanukah have fallen on the same day. And so today I would also like to say a huge thank you to pupils at Naima school for the care, creativity and dedication they put in to designing Chanukah cards

In fond and loving memory of Irene Morton Spriggs born 29.09.1924 and died 26.12.1999. On this the century of her birth she is much loved and long missed.

Mme StP & eldest son off to funeral of George Eugeniou (1931-2024), founder of Theatro Technis in Old St Pancras. He brought Greek and contemporary theatre to Camden youth. All three of my sons grew up there ants gained a life long love of theatre.

Melysa (Mia) Coles passed away on December 24th, 2024 (1958-2024). Her funeral is today at 14.00 at Golders Green Crematorium. She will be missed but fondly remembered by family, friends and former students for years to come. melysacoles.muchloved.com

On this night in 1945, Field-Marshal Keitel signs Germany's unconditional surrender to the Allies. The ceremony follows the German surrender by Alfred Jodl on May 7 at Eisenhower's HQ in Reims, France. Stalin insists the surrender be made to the Red Army in the German capital.
