In 2011 two programmers worked on the same Commodore 64 title, C64anabalt, each unaware of the other. Both versions were still released. Which version do you prefer?

For my new #c64 game I'm again going for a "single-button multi-purpose" control scheme. I was quite happy with how this turned out in #Spelunky64 :)

Implemented player "eye blinking idle animation". Although it only changes two pixels for a few frames, it makes all the difference! 😀

It looks like there is a review of #Spelunky64 in the latest German edition of Retro Gamer. I need to get me a copy. 😀

Awesome #C64 game updates you may not know about! Spelunky64 2024. 40 years on and the spiritual child of Spelunker hits the C64, and it's a cracker! Updated in every way, Spelunky64 is a wonderful port that is so playable it hurts. Ideal for some weekend gaming.

C64anabalt (2011) on the Commodore 64 is a fast-paced game. Crazy as it is, two unofficial versions were made at the same time without the knowledge of each other's project. One was created by Mr. SID and this one by Paul Koller. Both versions are pretty awesome!
