Planting #aspen with a group of YHA Lake District staff last week. These will be monitored for growth and survival rate. Different types of protection from browsing used include ➡️ biodegradable tubes, reused tubes, a fenced exclosure and planting unprotected. YHA England & Wales YHA Eskdale
