Our General Secretary, Owen Reidy, spoke to Morning Ireland this morning. By over-relying on corporation tax, Ireland risks the same old boom and bust economics. We need a new economic model that can deliver good jobs, improved living standards, and sustained growth.

Govt have an obligation to inspect aircraft in Ireland travelling along known military trade routes – but they are not. These flights could be transporting arms and dual-use goods to Israel. We must act under our EU obligations, and work to stop further slaughter in Gaza.

Workers are being crushed by soaring rents and unaffordable house prices.   Young people are trapped in childhood bedrooms, many now raising their own kids in overcrowded homes, while others face forced emigration. Enough is enough! #RaiseTheRoof

The Left must deliver a unified candidate for the #Presidency . Any other outcome will deliver the #Arás to establishment parties and slow momentum for Left alternative. So far nobody wants the Presidency and its quarter-of-a-million euro salary. Why? irishtimes.com/opinion/2025/0…
