The Ohio river valley is the greatest, most climate stable, and plentiful place to live in the US and possibly the world

I love how all the great writers from the 19th and 20th centuries were all just barely hanging on to their sanity. It makes me feel good when i try to write and it isnt good. I must be slightly too sane to be a great writer, for now

Sometimes i feel as though the entire world is living an extremely random, and almost entirely wrong way of life. Like our day to day is just so far from what God wants for us. Does free will permit this? Why does everything feel so wrong?

Just finished Albert Camus’s “The Stranger.” Quite a bleak read. It made me think about how sheltered the current generation seems to be of the absurdity of a mortal life, and how simply constant busy-ness and distraction may be to blame. Is this how secularism took hold?

The greatest coping hurdle for non-Christians is that it is really hard to find any secular/agnostic/ atheist people who are actually, deeply happy, or even just half as happy as your average protestant. A lot of secular heroes and popular figures even end up killing themselves

Saw something about China designing artificial wombs to gestate human babies on the timeline. This horrifying news and some personal struggles in faith as of late have made it clear just how quickly the world can get bleak if you do not cling to God and nature.
