Out with monitor farmer Shane Fitzgerald & Kate today, 1st job was grass walk! Kate had measured Thursday last week & she knew straight away the improvement Growth was 83kgsDM/ha and decision to take 2 paddocks out to bring cover per cow down to 200kgsDM/ha. Grass is bombing it!!

Looking at silage covers with Francis Nolan this morning. Last grazed 1st April, received 90 units in total this spring between PU +S and slurry. Cut and weighed 3500kgsDM/ha, aiming to cut in 2 weeks
